My essay in this collection from the Walking Artists Network discusses the possibility of walking London’s A-roads in numerical order, entering harsh pedestrian environments to impose a new logic on the city, against the grain. It could be seen as a way back to Roman London, if you ignore almost everything you see and experience en route.
